On Sunday, September 28, 2014, the winners of Himig Handog P-Pop Love Songs 2014 multimedia songwriting competition were announced live at the Big Dome, Araneta Coliseum.

Kapamilya stars including Kim Chiu, Xian Lim, Robi Domingo, and Alex Gonzaga was hosted the finals night of the competition. 

Veteran and amateur Filipino composers joined the "Himig Handog 2014" and interpreted by some popular artist.

Before the finals night Top 15 finalist song has been announced including:

1. Morissette - “Akin Ka Na Lang” by Francis Louis Salazar
2. Jessa Zaragoza for “Bumabalik ang Nagdaan” by Sarah Jane Gandia
3. Jovit Baldivino for “Dito” by Raizo Brent Chabeldin and Biv De Vera
4. Ebe Dancel with Abra for “Halik sa Hangin” by David Dimaguila
5. Angeline Quinto for “Hanggang Kailan” by Jose Joel Mendoza
6. Juris for “Hindi Wala” by Nica del Rosario
7. Jed Madela for “If You Don’t Want to Fall” by Jude Gitamondoc
8. Janella Salvador for “Mahal Kita Pero” by Melchora Mabilog
9. KZ for “Mahal Ko o Mahal Ako” by Edwin Marollano
10. Michael Pangilinan for “Pare Mahal Mo Raw Ako” by Jovinor Tan

The Grand Winner/Best Song was gave in ''Mahal Ko o Mahal Ako'' by Edwin Marollano. According to him, the song is based on a true story of his friend. It's about a woman's dilemma over two lovers—the one she loves and the one who loves her.

Some of the song given special awards including, MOR Listeners’ Choice goes to Daniel Padilla, ABS-CBN Favorite Interpreter - KZ Tandingan, TFC Choice - “If You Don’t Want to Fall” composed by Jude Gitamondoc, StarStudio’s Choice - “If You Don’t Want to Fall” composed by Jude Gitamondoc, Star Music Buyer's Choice - “Bumabalik ang Nagdaan” composed by Sarah Jane Gandia, ABS-CBNmobile Fan Favorite - Daniel Padilla “Simpleng Tulad Mo”, Star Cinema Choice - “Halik sa Hangin” by David Dimaguila and the MYX Best Music Video - “Mahal Kita Pero” music video by San Beda College Alabang.
